Mission

The Mission Commission has based its efforts on three principles it believes are shared widely in the St. Matthew congregation: 1) project our concern for the wider world by strong support of denominational programs with capacity to wisely meet need beyond our own immediate sphere, 2) focus our local efforts on critical causes we directly manage or that are being addressed by agencies of which we have direct knowledge and in whose efficacy we feel confident, 3) encourage and promote participation by members of our congregation in the local agencies we support.
